Bund Sightseeing Tunnel..

Last weekend we finally made it over to the other side of the river to do some sightseeing.. We walked down a famous shopping street, Nanjing Road and ended at The Bund. The Bund is a large waterfront area that tourists come to see Pudong (Financial Center, Pearl Tower, etc). We can see the Bund from our apartment so it was cool to see it again from the other side looking towards our apartment. Unfortunately, it was pretty foggy or polluted (whatever you want to call it!) that day so not the best view, but at least Brady liked watching the boats go by..

We then went through the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, although still not sure why it's called "sightseeing", but whatever... This tunnel takes you under the river over to the Pudong side and brings you ride outside the Pearl Tower. It was 45rmb for a one way or 55rmb for a return trip, so we opted for the return to go back to our waiting driver..

It was about a 5 minute ride and I'll just say it was pretty cheesy and you couldn't have a seizure disorder to ride on it!! Well, you can see for yourself..
