Seeing lots of red...

We are home from our vacation from Phuket, Thailand.. It was a wonderful week away with beautiful weather the entire time!! I forgot I never finished this post so I'll finish this one first and then do another one with LOTS of pics from our trip :)

We had teacher conferences last week, so Rilynn's school was closed for that day. So we headed to a new indoor playground, Lollipop, that we found. Kids had a blast!!

Plus, Rilynn's teachers had nothing but great things to say about her. She has settled in nicely and is confident in her abilities which was so nice to hear :)

Before we left for our vacation Rilynn's class had their Chinese New Year Celebration. They made dumplings to eat, did some chinese calligraphy, and a made a "firecracker"... Her class also performed a chopstick dance. They were supposed to dress up in traditional chinese outfits so I had fun shopping for that :)

Chinese Calligraphy

Making Chinese dumplings.. Rilynn didn't really like them, but of course Brady ate one :)

Craft time, making a chinese firecracker

Of course had to buy Brady something to wear too.. However, not too sure his Superman shirt went too well!! LOL

Brady chatting it up with Jiwuu from Rilynn's class. Apparently him and Rilynn are pretty close. She had asked me to give him one of my cards (has my email, address, and phone numbers) so he could call her :) At conferences her teachers said there were some "couples" in their class!! Daddy didn't like to hear that.. LOL

Rilynn's class, with Brady included :)

Chopstick dance

Some Chinese New Year decorations- It started on Feb 2 and goes for a week. I'm sure we'll have some more pictures from their celebrations here.
Kids at Thumb Plaza in Pudong- nice area for western eating and shopping :)

Doesn't everyone get fries and corn on the cob when they order strawberry pancakes?!? LOL

Times Square in Pudong- there is another one on the Puxi side

Another snow day! Rilynn's school was cancelled the next day.. LOL. They definitely don't know how to handle snow here!!
